Valentia Island cottages is owned and run by us, Mossie and Mary O Sullivan. We have been in the self catering / holiday homes business for the past 18 years. By day we run a local farm on Valentia Island and are available at all times to help make a visitors holiday enjoyable.

A road bridge connects the island to the mainland and the Ring of Kerry, but Valentia itself offers peace and tranquility and the added attractions of water activities and spectacular views over the Atlantic.

Ballinskelligs and its Blue Flag beach is a short drive away and there are pubs, shops, and restaurants all around the area at Waterville, Cahirsiveen and Portmagee. A boat trip to the Skelligs or a drive or walk along the many mountain roads will suit some and the water sports and golf nearby will be an attraction for others. The Ring of Kerry awaits for those who wish to tour further afield, but the main attraction here is the beautiful setting and country living.

This is a suitable property for families, fishing and sailing enthusiasts and those who wish to relax in a countryside setting, and get away from it all, but within easy reach of the attractions of south west Kerry, from art galleries, to historical sights and sea views with rugged coastlines. There are days out here to be treasured and this property is superb in every way, to start from and return to.
